Carphlan Research Institute has brought on global experts in the intersection of chronic disease and mental health to design, implement, and evaluate a counseling intervention for those in our community with dual diagnoses who are at high risk for diabetic complications such as amputation and retinopathy.
Carphlan Research Institute is currently partnering with domestic violence shelters and law enforcement in four separate nations to conduct a needs assessment among survivors. This work will identify gaps in substance abuse and mental health services.
